Leading up to this year’s Super Bowl, “Good Morning America” invited viewers to submit their most outrageous takes on traditional football party food recipes for their “Ultimate Game Day Grub Contest.” They received hundreds of entries and whittled the contestants and recipes down to their chosen winner. We are thrilled that the prize winning recipe and the home chef behind it has ties to Outta The Park BBQ Sauce!
Sherri Logan Williams of Florida is inspiring people across America to kick up their game day menu and make something extraordinary this year with her recipe for Spicy BBQ Pulled Pork Stuffed Pepper Minis. Why serve ordinary pulled pork sliders when you can stuff the pork in finger-food friendly, mini pepper poppers instead?!
This talented and immensely creative home chef first caught our attention in the summer of 2012 when she was a prize winner in our “Feed Your Crowd” photo contest on Pinterest. We immediately became fans and followers on her Facebook page Cooking with Love and Passion.
Then she absolutely blew us away when she took the Outta The Park BBQ Sauce that she won in our contest and turned them into these beautiful Spicy BBQ Pulled Pork Stuffed Pepper Minis!
It’s a great thrill to see the signature color and texture of Outta The Park BBQ Sauce in Sherri’s picture and on the Good Morning America website! Although the recipe on the GMA page doesn’t specify any brand of sauce, we know which one Sherri used for this particular picture - Outta The Park Hot & Spicy!
You can find her pepper recipe and recipes for so many other amazing creations on her Just A Pinch recipe page.
We are thrilled for Sherri and her Spicy Stuffed Peppers to win bragging rights as the Ultimate Game Day Grub! Head to GoodMorningAmerica.com to check out more inspired game day fare.
Congratulations again, Sherri, and thanks for being a great fan of Outta The Park BBQ Sauce!
