Happy 2011 from Outta the Park

I've been dreaming of a white Christmas since I was a kid in the 70s, and at long last my wish came true. North Carolina had it's 1st white Christmas in more than 60 years in 2010, and our family celebrated the snow in Outta the Park fashion. We didn't fire up the snow covered grill, but we did roll up a giant Outta the Park snowman!

Marilyn's Pizza is a locally owned, independent gourmet pizzeria located in the Salt Box Village shopping center on Kildaire Farm Rd in Cary. They bake their delicious pizzas and calzones in a stone oven and have plenty of fresh toppings to choose from.

"Oh Atlanta!...On my way to Whole Foods Georgia!"

I just love the song "Oh Atlanta" by Bad Company, and it certainly comes to mind this weekend as Scott is in Atlanta launching our sauce at 5 Whole Foods Market stores in Georgia. We are thrilled to now be sharing our sauce with Whole Foods shoppers in SC, TN, and GA in addition to NC!

Scott and I had a blast at the 2010 NC Hot Sauce Contest this past weekend! What a great event put on by the town of Oxford, Julia Stovall of Stovall's Gifts and the folks who grow the peppers that go in our sauce - Bailey Farms of Oxford.

I have to say as a huge fan of competitive Food TV shows, I like Herb's chances and think he has what it takes to go all the way!! And it's really cool that he just plugged our sauce on his FB page!
